Employment Opportunities

CJCFPD accepts applications for employment year-round.

For purposes of potential seniority, applications are time stamped at the time they are received. Applications are kept for two years. This period will reset if the application is updated during this time frame by the applicant.


Entry Level Firefighter requirements:

  • Firefighter I and II Certifications
  • Valid EMT or Paramedic License
  • CPAT – Not older than one year
  • Fire Service Entrance Exam
